Deadlines and Registration Fees

Registration is now open. The button below will redirect you to the GDCh website, which is responsible for registration and processing registration fee payments on behalf of EUROISMAR 2019. As is traditional for all EUROMAR and ISMAR conferences, please take note that the registration fee includes the membership to the Ampere Society and ISMAR for an additional year or term, respectively.

After you have completed your registration, please return to our website for abstract submission.

21 February 2019: registration and abstract submission opened.

30 April 2019: early bird registration (with payment) closed.

Wednesday 15 May 2019 18:00 CEST Monday 13 May 2019 23:59 (CEST): abstract submission for consideration of an oral presentation closes. The Chair has decided to extend the deadline for oral presentation abstracts.

Please note that it may not be possible to submit any abstracts, oral or poster, between 18:01 on 15 May 2019 and 09:00 on 16 May 2019 (CEST). Submission for poster-only contributions will reopen, at the latest, by 09:00 on Thursday 16 May 2019.

13 May 2019-12 June 2019: decisions on abstracts selected for a talk is communicated. For abstract-related inquiries, please contact euroismar2019-abstracts@fmp-berlin.de.

24 May 2019: student stipend application closes

1 July 2019: abstract submission for poster presentation closes

1 July 2019: deadline for oral and poster presenters to register and make payment, in order to confirm attendance of the conference.

Those who have an abstract selected for an oral presentation must confirm their attendance by email, register, and make payment by 1 July 2019, otherwise, we reserve the right to select alternative speakers.

Those who would like to present a poster must register and make payment by 1 July 2019, otherwise, they will be excluded from the list of posters as well as the abstract book.

Please note that participants who register after 1 July 2019 may not be guaranteed to be included in the printed list of attendees and contact details in the abstract book.

Attendance for oral and poster presentations, lunch, coffee breaks, and refreshments are included in the registration fee. Please make your own accommodation and transport arrangements.

Students, who have not yet defended their PhD thesis by the start of EUROISMAR 2019, are eligible for the Students rate.

Accompanying persons (adults) can register at €125, which enables them to partake in the catering provided.

We reserve the right to increase registration fees for regular and late/on-site registrations. Please note that early bird registration has closed on 30 April 2019.

The billing and payment of registration fees and other fees for EUROISMAR 2019 are carried out by the GDCh (German Chemical Society). You will be directed to their website for registration and payment. Payment can be made by credit card (Amex, MasterCard, VISA) or by bank transfer to the GDCh bank account.

Abstract submission

Abstract submission will be opened on this website at the same time as the opening of registration. All areas of research pertaining to magnetic resonance, from theoretical studies to specific applications, are welcome.

The abstract will be judged by the scientific committee. The content, novelty, and clarity of the abstract will all be considered. The abstract must not be longer than 300 words. Please do not include any graphics or figures.

Creating an account on our system (known as "Indico") is necessary for submitting an abstract.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will take place on Thursday, 29 August 2019 at Clärchens Ballhaus, Auguststraße 24, 10117 Berlin.

Clärchens Ballhaus is a classic Berlin location in the city centre. Comprised of a Ballroom, a Hall of Mirrors, and a Winter Garden that have survived two World Wars as well as the division of the city, it epitomizes the city where all walks of life can come together.

The buffet menu will comprise of Italian and German local favourites. A welcoming drink, as well as a drink with your meal, is included. A DJ will ensure a relaxed atmosphere for catching up with old friends and meeting fellow NMR-enthusiasts.

Due to the popularity of the dinner, please note that it is accompanying persons must be registered (at the appropriate fee) for the conference in order to take part in the conference dinner. It is not possible for accompanying persons to only attend the conference dinner.
